About NHIS
We’ve been providing real estate services in the Pickerington Ohio area since 1994 and have performed more than 22,350 inspections. This includes: the heating and cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems; the roof, attic, visible insulation, walls, ceilings, floors, windows and doors; as well as the foundation and all visible areas of the structure. Other Home inspection services can also be provided, such as a wood destroying insect report, phase construction reports, partial inspections, radon and other environmental testing.
Our Mission
National Home Inspection Service is dedicated to providing highly trained and courteous professionals who will act as advocates for our clients, presenting unbiased information in an easy-to-understand, user-friendly format. Our role is to educate our clients and be a resource for them both during and after the inspection.
Our inspectors belong to nationally recognized organizations that provide the education and state-of-the-art methods required to perform the due diligence necessary to help our clients make informed decisions, while adhering to the rigorous and nationally recognized Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice outlined by the State of Ohio. We will point out the positive aspects of the home as well as any items that may need maintenance to keep it in good shape. You are encouraged to attend the 2-3 hour Home inspection in order to ask the Home Inspector questions that may prove invaluable in your overall evaluation of the property.
Protecting You
The purchase of a home is probably the largest single investment you will ever make. You should learn as much as you can about the condition of the property and the need for any major repairs before you buy so that you can minimize unpleasant surprises and difficulties afterward. A professional Home Inspector should perform a visual examination of the physical structure and systems of a home, from the roof to the foundation, and If any problems or symptoms are found, the inspector may recommend further evaluation.
